Palin tells O’Donnell: ‘Welcome to my world’
Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) on Monday said that Delaware GOP Senate nominee Christine O’Donnell faces virtually the same political challenges she did in 2008, telling her “welcome to my world.”
Asked by Fox News’s Greta Van Susteren about a spoof of O’Donnell shown on NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” that was similar to the show’s portrayal of the 2008 vice presidential nominee on the campaign trail, Palin offered words of encouragement to the Tea Party-backed candidate….
SPECIAL REPORT – Big Green: They’re the green gorillas of American politics UPDATED! | Washington Examiner
Spend and Tax Way of Saving the Planet
Yes, Spend and Tax is on a 10 day two-week spring sales trip, selling global cooling kits to liberals. This annual springtime sales event is an opportunity by a conservative to help defeat global warming and put liberals in their proper place in history.
The kit costing $595 consists mostly of a manual on how to minimize your signature of global warming gases. The basic manual teaches liberals that they are too dependent on the modern grid and how to remove oneself to minimize signature. Such as:
Turn off all electrical power to house, have telephone service stopped, throwaway keys to your motor vehicle, disavow use of all synthetics by removing them from your house and what you wear. Additionally the manual covers in great detail what your daily activities should be in order to help the environment, such things are covered as; sitting for long periods of time with little movement plus avoiding excessive carbon dioxide exhaling. Food gathering within walking distance from your residence with limited use of tools such as guns and any item made of metal which we all know as a large carbon footprint.
The kit also contains some very useful items which are limiting global warming such as a butt muffler and Cork to contain methane gases. Special eye covers made from simple cotton that limits the use of eyesight, thus eliminating distractions, plus many well-thought-out concepts and devices in eliminating global warming threats.
The whole concept is simple with 20% of our population being liberals by minimizing their activity to a bare minimum we would expect somewhere between 8 to10% drop in man-made greenhouse gas production plus liberals would be setting the pace for saving the planet.
We as conservatives could observe, check the science and the reality of reducing man-made greenhouse gases over a 50 year period adding a great body of information on man’s portion of greenhouse gases and its effect on our environment.
Spend and tax always looking to help solve our nation’s problems!
Wish us well.
A Different Look at the Wee-Wee We Are In
A Different Look at the Wee-Wee We Are In
I’m a conservative and have a lens that I look through which breaks things down in terms of left and right, because it clearly fits the times we are living in. Yet this morning as I was sipping my coffee looking at the story in which the Department of Labor is reporting inflation but it is not being reported. This started a process of thinking that also fits the times we are living in.
I have an uncle Ed who was a very successful attorney, retired very wealthy yet in his later years was a complete alcoholic. His family around him enabled this alcoholism by protecting him from the consequences that he brought on himself. They did this for many different reasons, yet overriding this was inheritance, acceptance within his circle and the general desire not to confront the issue.
Look at our government; it’s on a spending and power binge that has not been seen in this country in its entire history. Just like alcoholism a government denies its trouble, then turns around and points its finger at the previous administration, saying we can’t help this it’s all their fault. Then they say; “We are not under the influence we are trying to solve their problems, its not our fault!” What comes next; we must spend our way out of this recession, we must reform health care, you should stop accusing us of being drunk on the expenditure of money and power. But often what comes back from the alcoholic and the present administration is accusations against who is pointing the finger. You’re oversimplifying, look who’s pointing the finger, you’ve always been an obstructionist, you worked for that discredited last administration etc. etc. etc.
On top of all of this there are whole series of enablers to protect, sweep the problems under the rug, and deny the governments inability to control its own expenditures. The enablers you could say, ABC, CBS, CNBC and CNN plus the major liberal newspaper chains which push a picture of competence.
The problem we the people face is the fact that our government and its enablers are sweeping large amounts of trash under the rug. They are trying to hide inflation, abuse of money, coverups, and within the Justice Department a total lack of competence. Complete ignorance of the problem of Islamic fundamentalist terrorism.
Personally I’m going to stay with the conservative lens. It just amuses me that there are a lot of similarities between the alcoholic and this government.
Here are two articles that tripped my thinking above
Astonishing Inflation Data from the BLS
Climategate for the last month then it hit me there is a video out
Been following climate gate for the last month then it hit me there is a video out that parallels a lot of the problems.
The video was released this year or last byBen Stein called Expelled, no intelligence allowed. Pulled my copy off the shelf put it in the DVD player and sure enough I was taken back with the similarities between the climate scandal and the issues over Darwinism and Intelligent Design. The entrenched bureaucracy covering each others work, with no interest in looking at other possibilities outside their understanding. My recommend to everybody is to get a copy of Expelled, it opens a window to what’s going on in climatology.
Science has always been politicized with one set of learned scholars defending the status quo and the other trying to wake them up to another viewpoint. Historically that pattern appears to have merit and today with billions of dollars involved and personal prestige making change it is extremely difficult. Science, is driven by people that have the same desires as the rest of us, the desire for recognition, success and a personal stake in their research. This coupled with the extremely large amounts of money in the grant process creates an absolute need of control and outcome of research. Simply put, it would be difficult to say the research is not working out. The reality appears to be, it was more important for the money and prestige than to admit failure in proving that carbon is the trigger to planetary woes. From my layman’s point of view at this time there is no significant amount of evidence that carbon is absolutely the trigger to “global warming.” When climatologists started to change the concept from global warming to climate change this was in fact the point that their predictive models were a total failure!
Now we have a very politically motivated president, with the most extremist left-leaning positions at the helm of our nation, this in fact scares me, climate is only but a tool to erode our Constitution and people’s individual liberty. Enter the decision last year that gives the EPA power to regulate carbon emissions as a pollutant despite the failures in Copenhagen. People are endangered by an Orwellian government.
If we look at a lot of these schemes including healthcare, climate change (or as they used to call it “global warming”) we see the devaluing of the individual and the need for unity of the collective directed by a central authority with control and command in order to protect the people from some quote unquote bigger evil.
How did we ever get this far into left wing schemes?
The other side of the question, Am I paranoid?
What’s funny, the left has always been paranoid, by big business, investment bankers and yet they seem quite comfortable with the a collective government.
Last point, it is yours….
Personally the video Expelled is great and I recommend it.
